STEPS TO HARD RESET LUMIA 520 AND OTHER LUMIA PHONES

To hard reset Lumia phone also known as factory reset / master reset is the total restoration of any phone to the state it was when it left the factory. Which mean all the settings, data added and all applications added by the user are removed.

==> Wait for one minute, then press and hold the POWER BUTTON and release the POWER BUTTON as soon as the phone vibrates

==> As soon as you release the power button when the phone vibrate, press and hold VOLUME DOWN BUTTON

==> When the Lumia Phone show EXCLAMTION MARK release the volume down button

==> Then use the following sequence of buttons in these orders: VOLUME UP – VOLUME DOWN – POWER – AND VOLUME DOWN.

==> Your Lumia phone will begin the process of restoring back to factory settings, these may take a while relax.

Congratulation!!! Lumia 520, Lumia 510, Lumia 610, Lumia 710, Lumia 720 or any kind of Lumia phone that you may be using has finally been hard reset to the original factory settings. Hard or Factory reset is mostly done when you notice some funny behaviors, which include virus or malware attack and unsuccessful rooting or settings of the device.
