How to install fonts on iphone and IPad

Having your own fonts displayed on your mobile device like iPhone or iPad is a way of showcasing ownership, identity and style. Fonts are the embedded beauty in writing, and when there’s uniqueness, clearness and beauty in the way your text appear on your iPhone or iPad screen, you will love texting with the phone.


With the steps I will reveal to you, you can customize the fonts of all the apps installed in your iPad or iPhone. Please take note that you can’t alter the system app fonts but you can customize the fonts of third party apps.

How to install fonts on iphone and IPad

==> The first and most important step to take is to install the free iFont app. You can download it Here.

==> The next action to take is to download the font you want. You can access the free google fonts by going to the Download tab on the bottom of iFont.

If you think that the available fonts are not good or appealing to you, you can visit font download site in your browser and select the Download button for the font you want. Go to Open in iFont, if that shows up, or More > Copy to iFont to open it from the sharing menu.

==> iFont will open its interface and notify you to grab the contents of the file you downloaded. You are free to uncheck some of the Associated files like license agreements and cover images if you don’t require them. Fonts will be visible at the top in OTF or TTF format. Tap on Import to iFont.

==> Tap the Files tab located at the bottom. You will find all the fonts you have imported into the app. Tap Install next to one.

==> Your iPhone Or iPad will alert you that the app wants to open Settings to show you a configuration profile. Don’t be agitated; tap Allow.

==> On the Install Profile screen section, tap Install and enter your passcode. You will see a warning that it is not signed; tap on Install once more, then Done.

==> Now you have completely installed the font and can be used by any app! Check the list of fonts in any creative app you use. If you don’t see it, that particular app might not support the display of custom fonts.

==> In case you decide to remove a font, go to Settings > General > Profiles. Tap on the font you want to delete and choose Remove profile to remove the font. That’s it, you are good to go.
