remind me take a break feature in youtube App

In order to have a society that is not so much addicted to mobile phones, and online videos, Youtube the video viewing arm of Google has introduced a new feature that alerts users to take a break whenever they are spending so much time on the video website.

This new well-being initiative feature was announced last week at Google I/O, and it is aimed at helping youtube users realize how much time they are spending on their mobile phone, in turn hopefully combating smartphone addiction.

One of the promised features which is now live and ready for activation is a reminder in the YouTube app for users to take a break after a set amount of video watching. Details about how to setup this new feature and what exactly happens when you reach a time limit will be revealed in this post.

== > For Android users, tap on General and go to the option labeled Remind me to take a break. In “Remind me to take a break,” you can set YouTube to alert you it’s break time every 15, 30, 60, 90 and 180 minutes.

Once you exceed your self-imposed time limit in the YouTube app, a notification will pop up reminding you it’s time to take a break. When you are notified, you can either adjust the amount of time between interruptions or dismiss it and continue watching a video.
